I have lived in Hyrum all but three years of my life and have witnessed growth in every aspect, residentially, industrial and recreationally. I have a great love of our city and want to preserve the values and quality of life it has afforded me.

I feel that my leadership experience both as a religious leader and business owner has instilled in me the joy of working with people and focusing on short and long term goals and objectives. My previous leadership experiences required living within a budget and holding those in positions of importance within my company accountable, financially and personally when dealing with others. I believe as a Mayor there comes not only great fiscal responsibility, but a duty of transparency with the citizens, for it is those citizens for whom the Mayor works for. That same philosophy, in my opinion, is true for every employee of the city. I grew up in a home where we were taught to work, both physically, Spiritually and mentally. We were taught resilience and how to overcome challenges and work with others, listening and striving to understand before making decisions that impacted lives.

I am excited about the prospect of having the opportunity of working for the City of Hyrum and the wonderful people who live here, many of whom I have grown up with and love dearly. My goal is to not just preserve those values and quality of life we have enjoyed, it is to enrich them and make it even better.
